Finding the best way forward for you

At New Horizons Network we offer coaching, counselling and psychotherapy. Our offices in Highcliffe are easily accessed from Christchurch, Poole, New Milton and Ringwood. We see a range of clients every day, from individuals looking for help in managing difficult situations and conditions, to couples hoping to find their way back to each other and business people looking for ways to achieve their next success.

If you’re new to coaching, counselling or psychotherapy, you can take a look at our FAQs below to understand how we operate.

We are a network of established professionals with decades of experience between us, all with different specialisations ranging from various mental health conditions, to bereavement and trauma, sex, relationships and coaching. The beauty of this is that regardless of your reasons for getting in touch with us, you can feel safe in the knowledge that we will be able to link you with a counsellor, coach or therapist suitable for your needs.

We have clients who only come to us a few times to deal with a specific goal or issue, while others keep coming back for months or even years. It’s all about your needs and experiences and we pride ourselves on meeting every person with personal care and attention rather than a “one size fits all”-approach.

Feel free to navigate the links below to read more about coaching, counselling and psychotherapy and how these can benefit you. FAQs

How do I know if I need to talk to someone?

It’s completely normal to face some struggles in your day-to-day life, whether it’s within your health, work or relationships. However if you find that there are things you just can’t figure out, or perhaps you have a general feeling of just not being right, or there is a specific issue that is taking up your energy, we can help you get back on the right path.

Is coaching/counselling/therapy only for depressed people?

In one word – no! We meet people from all walks of life. Some are experiencing issues – both internal and external –  that they want help with. Meanwhile, others come to us for support in how to best achieve business, relationship and life goals for an even healthier, happier life.

Can I talk to you in confidence?

Of course. We are committed to the highest level of professionalism and as a part of this, everything you tell us is strictly confidential. The only exceptions are if there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone near you, or if a court requests information for a specific case.

How long are the appointments?

Most people come and see us for an hour, once a week, but this may vary slightly depending on your needs.

How many appointments will I need?

That’s entirely up to you. Some feel that they have the tools they need to move forward after just a few sessions, while others come back to us weekly for months or even years.

What is the cost?

The cost again depends on your circumstances, but we are of the opinion that everyone should be able to have access to the help they need in life, and have set our prices accordingly.

How long will I have to wait to see someone?

If you can be flexible on times, there is little or no waiting list to be seen. Of course, certain times may be busier than others, but we always aim to see you within a week of getting in touch.
